The first contents page has a lot of writing on it, with the page numbers next to the Features. This tell us what the page number is for the stories in the magazine. The contents page has three main pictures which are related to the stories inside the magazine. I don't think this is the right style for my contents page, because most school kids like looking at pictures rather than writing

The contents page for classic and sports cars which is the second one down, has really little writing compared to the first contents page. It has a lot more pictures of cars which will go into more detail inside the magazine. It has a page number on the pictures, so if someone likes this car they would see the page number and turn to that page. This is better for my target audience because they would rather look at pictures than a lot of writing.

The third one down called Media Magazine, has a contents page which has a lot of writing, but still has a few pictures on it. They have used a red font which makes it stand out more and with pictures it makes it more attractive to the reader. With my magazine having to be for people at school I still don't think this is the right contents page to use.

The fourth magazine called Top Gear has a contents page with a big pictures at the top of the page, but it has a lot of writing under the picture. It only has one picture so my target audience may not like this because they are more likely to like more pictures than less. I am not going to use this contents page to make mine.
